The 2010 First Annual Bully Ball was a huge success thanks to the generous supporters, sponsors, and attendees of the event. Over $38,000 was raised!
Thank you, The Citadel, for allowing their bulldog mascot, “General”, to attend! He was a perfect gentleman and seemed to enjoy attending the event to show his support for his fellow bullies.
We would also like to thank renowned Georgia artist, Steve Penley, for donating a gorgeous original painting of a white English Bulldog which sold for $10,500 to Jill and Rankin Smith, Jr of Thomasville, Georgia.
Special thanks go out to the former athletes who attended and lent their support including Scott Woerner, Matt Stinchcomb, Pat Hunnicutt, Knox Culpepper, Dr. Tom Lyons, David Greene, Greg Talley, Rusty Epperson, John Lastinger, Rankin Smith, Jr, and Bill Fralic.
Thank you, Coach Vince Dooley, for attending the event to show your support and sign your books for the crowd. A special thank you also goes out to Coach Jim Donnan, Coach Ray Goff, the Seiler family, and Coach Mark Richt for their support and endorsement of this event.
We would also like to thank the generous businesses and people who donated auction items and in kind donations that helped promote our event to the public. A special thank you goes out to John Little and Georgia Crown Distributing for donating the wine for dinner.
Last but not least, a big thank you goes out to Loran Smith, our first Honorary Chairman, who devoted countless hours to making this event successful. Thank you for caring about the breed of your mascot. Thank you for believing in what this event was about and caring about neglected English Bulldogs in the southeast.
